Job Summary
Maintain and reconcile general ledgers across multiple entities, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and assist with cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting. Execute varied accounting projects while communicating with team members throughout the organization. Provide financial insights and recommendations to ownership and leadership, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, and internal controls. This role offers hands-on involvement in the full accounting cycle within a multi-entity environment supporting strategic decisions for a privately held firm with long-term investments in commercial real estate and high-net-worth portfolios.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience in commercial real estate, property management, or similar industries
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and multi-entity accounting
- Experience with accounting software (Yardi, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
- High level of discretion, accuracy, and organizational skill
- A proactive mindset and collaborative approach
