Financial Accountant

Job Summary
This role owns accounts receivable, end-to-end accounts payable, and month-end processes, including debtor/creditor management, reconciliations, journals, and intercompany balances, with opportunities to lead efficiency projects. The position requires an experienced, technically strong accountant who can work autonomously in a fast-moving tech environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support audits and regulatory compliance, consolidation and group reporting, and provide accounting support across tax, budgeting, and data analysis. On-site at Melbourne office with a strong emphasis on accurate, compliant financial control and impactful operational improvements.
Required Qualifications
- CPA or CA qualification
- Minimum of 4 years' financial and management accounting experience
- Experience in software development or SaaS industries
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial control
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs) and NetSuite (bonus)
