Job Summary
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP (FRS102). Reconcile balance sheet accounts including bank, accounts payable, fixed assets, and multi-currency intercompany balances to meet fast-paced reporting deadlines. Assist with the month-end close process by preparing journals, accruals, and prepayments under the direction of the International Accounting Manager. Manage the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions while supporting the annual audit process through evidence preparation and collaboration with external auditors. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve system efficiencies within the new Oracle Fusion ERP. Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across the UK, head office, and global offices to build and improve regional processes and controls as the international presence scales.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience operating within a global organizational structure
- An understanding of UK GAAP (FRS102)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems
Desired Qualifications
- ACA, CPA or equivalent certification
- An understanding of IFRS
- An understanding of US GAAP
- Proficiency with Oracle Fusion
- Experience with another large ERP system
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
