Job Summary
Financial Accountant role (9-month contract) in Rotork, Sweden. Responsibilities include maintaining and improving internal control procedures, documenting procedures for ERP D365, collaborating with departments to remediate control deficiencies; managing accounts receivable and collections, generating aging reports, and ensuring timely payments; supporting quarter-end, month-end, and year-end closures, preparing journal entries and reconciliations, and providing financial data for management reports; ensuring compliance with local accounting standards; assisting with ad-hoc projects for the Financial Controller. Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 3+ years accounting experience, knowledge of internal control frameworks, AR/collections experience, advanced Excel skills, PowerBI usage, and fluency in Swedish and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Understanding of internal control frameworks
- Experience with accounts receivable management and collections
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Champion the use of PowerBI, promoting use & the development of skills within the wider team/function
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
