Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of Project Accountants supporting AECOM GBS, ensuring accurate project accounting and GAAP compliance for C3, C2, and C1 risk projects. Supervise team members through mentorship and performance management while validating key process steps for Project Setup, Modifications, EACs, and Month-End activities against standardized checklists. Oversee financial reporting, revenue recognition, and month-end close procedures using Oracle and AECOM systems, ensuring SOX and delegation of authority compliance. Drive continuous improvement and address workflow deviations to maintain timeliness and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, or Accounting
- Background in Finance
- Experience of project accounting, preferably in a multinational
- Demonstrable experience operating in a complex, fast paced, international business environment
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage details but also understand the 'big picture'
- Identifies and executes initiatives and continuous improvements
- Extensive operations interface and collaboration
- Must be able to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
