Job Summary
Develop a deep understanding of all accounting and finance workflows while assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Lead ERP and financial systems transformation by partnering with finance leadership, operations teams, and IT to migrate from eoStar and Dynamics GP to VIP Financials, while participating in process mapping, system testing, and user acceptance testing. Drive process improvement by evaluating manual processes for automation, designing efficient workflows, and developing dashboards and KPI tracking tools to monitor profitability and support strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting, finance, or financial systems experience
- Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting
- Strong understanding of Financial statements
- Strong understanding of Account reconciliations
- Strong understanding of Month-end close
- Strong understanding of Journal entries
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- CPA designation or CPA-track candidate
- Experience supporting ERP implementations or system migrations
