Job Summary
Process monthly payroll, calculating earnings, deductions, and net pay while ensuring accuracy. Compute, file, and remit statutory deductions including PAYE, VAT, WHT, NHF, and Pension in strict compliance with current tax laws. Maintain accurate financial records by posting daily transactions and invoices on QuickBooks Online, then perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliation. Assist the finance team with audit preparations, financial reporting, and handling routine vendor or client payment inquiries. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 1–3 years of experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel, and strong attention to detail. Salary ranges from 180,000 to 200,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 1–3 years of proven experience in a similar accounting or finance support role
- Hands-on experience working with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of payroll processing workflows
- Strong understanding of statutory tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with high confidentiality
