Job Summary
Lead full cycle accounting functions including AP, AR, GL management, and reconciliations; support an audit through September for a contract role with potential extension; collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and develop new processes to drive efficiencies; partner with the finance team to help lead the finance function; requires at least 5 years progressive accounting experience, GAAP and GASB expertise, and advanced Excel skills; preference for nonprofit, government, or agriculture sector experience; role offers medical benefits/sick pay through Hoxton Circle during the contract.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 5 years progressive accounting experience
- Strong preference for experience in the nonprofit, government or agriculture industry
- GASB and GAAP experience required
- Advanced Excel skills
