Job Summary
Analyze production costs, maintain inventory accuracy, and support financial reporting by partnering with Operations to drive profitability and continuous improvement. Maintain standard costing systems, analyze manufacturing variances, prepare cost and operational reports, and assist with month-end and year-end close activities. Provide day-to-day supervision of assigned finance staff to ensure accurate financial information, compliance with established accounting procedures, and effective financial support of manufacturing operations. This role reports to the VP of Finance within the Finance department at Golden Artist Colors, an employee-owned manufacturer of professional artist paints based in New Berlin.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- 5-7 Years
- Progressive experience in accounting, finance, cost accounting, or financial analysis
- Experience with budgeting support, reporting, inventory analysis, and cost accounting
- Prior experience leading projects or providing work direction to staff
