Job Summary
Support the VP for Strategy, Planning, and CFO with administrative and operational work for the Strategic Leadership Council, including agenda development, meeting logistics, and documentation. Maintain and oversee annual and multi-year planning calendars that connect operational planning and budgeting across university functions. Serve on the leadership team to create systems for tracking commitments, ensuring team accountability, and maintaining task lists. Coordinate with internal and external constituents to represent the VP's instructions on complex issues, while organizing the Employee Housing program and establishing office procedures for the Office of the CFO.
Required Qualifications
- Post-high school training/coursework
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of administration and/or project coordination experience
- Ability to interact with initiative and discretion with a wide variety of individuals, including students, trustees, vendors, external colleagues, faculty, and staff
- Excellent customer service, public relations, and diplomacy skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently on complex tasks
- Commitment to learning and applying new tools and techniques to meet team and organizational goals
- Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Zoom (or comparable collaboration platforms)
- Working knowledge of AI tools or willingness to adopt them to improve efficiency and productivity
- Ability to stand, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 10 lbs
- Staff agree to live in agreement with PLNU's Community Life Covenant
- Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement
