Finance Specialist - Statutory

Job Summary
Statutory accountant for LATAM responsible for statutory reporting and US GAAP-to-local GAAP adjustments across 13 LATAM GEV entities; serves as primary point of contact for regulatory timelines and audit coordination, supports changes in organizational structure (M&A, dispositions), system migration and process simplification, and enhances accounting controls and processes across monthly/quarterly/yearly close; requires strong accounting knowledge, experience with financial systems (Oracle, Hyperion, BI tools), and excellent communication skills to liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- significant progressive accounting or finance experience
- Extensive experience with financial systems including Oracle, Hyperion, Business Objects and/or other related tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with US GAAP to Local GAAP adjustments (permanent or temporary)
- Experience with statutory reporting and regulatory filings
- Ability to manage relations with auditors (external and internal)
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration and global processes
