Finance Specialist

Job Summary
Review purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Work with managers and department leaders to authorize invoices, receive inventory into the CRM, and verify receipts match statements while investigating discrepancies. Process daily deposits, apply manufacturer rebates, handle customer refunds, and conduct bi-weekly Accounts Receivable audits. Manage vendor correspondence, coordinate NSF collections, and maintain accurate financial records using Sage Intacct and ServiceTitan. Perform other duties as assigned to support day-to-day financial operations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Receiving, Accounting, or a related administrative role
- Working knowledge of General Ledger (GL) coding principles
- Experience processing invoices, vendor statements, purchase orders, or inventory transactions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
- Strong follow-up skills and commitment to seeing issues through to resolution
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information
- Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems; ServiceTitan and Sage Intacct experience is a plus
