Job Summary
Monitor daily loan pricing requests and transactions, resolve pricing exceptions and penalty fee discrepancies, and coordinate with CoBank to ensure accurate documentation. Maintain daily loan rates sheets, forward rate lock activity, and aging reports while preparing recurring financial reports, reconciliations, and regulatory analysis for management and board review. Distribute daily financial data, update key metrics, and develop automated accounting system reports to support lending and Treasury activities. Prepare ad-hoc analysis and supporting documentation for operational and business initiatives, and assist in special projects designed to improve efficiency and meet Association objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the job
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and concepts
- Ability to perform general accounting responsibilities
- Ability to perform specific accounting entries
- Ability to perform reconciliations
- Ability to analyze assigned general ledger accounts
- Experience with month end closing process
- Experience interacting with Financial Partners, Inc, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Farm Credit Administration, and CoBank examiners
- Ability to accurately record financial transactions
- Ability to produce quality financial reports
- Ability to guide leadership's strategic decisions
- Ability to maintain regulatory compliance
- Ability to support quality assurance in the operations function
- Ability to monitor and manage daily loan pricing requests and transactions
- Ability to process special pricing requests
- Ability to coordinate with funding bank CoBank
- Ability to ensure timely responses and accurate documentation
- Ability to review daily pricing exception and penalty fee reports
- Ability to research discrepancies
- Ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Ability to resolve issues
- Ability to ensure compliance with established pricing guidelines
- Ability to maintain and distribute daily loan rates sheets

- Ability to provide analysis utilizing report writers/data bases
- Ability to exercise appropriate controls to ensure financial reporting integrity
- Ability to provide credit support to customers and other team members
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers and vendors
- Ability to prepare ad-hoc reports, analysis, and supporting documentation
- Ability to assist management with operational, financial, and business initiatives
- Ability to work closely with Marketplace, Regional and Association management on special projects
- Ability to perform special projects that support the requirements of the Operations/Financial group
- Ability to supervise other operations group staff during manager absences
- Ability to participate in Association level projects designed to improve efficiency, ensure quality and/or further Association objectives
