Job Summary
Process program expenditures by vouching invoices, packing slips, and supporting documentation, and prepare and obtain program approvals for paperwork before submission to Accounts Payable. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in vendor invoices and financial transactions, while reviewing, editing, and computing CYFS program In-Kind reports monthly. Prepare and route independent contractor agreements for review and signature, and process Family Child Care Program provider payments and reimbursements. Handle State Child Development monthly attendance and update reports for analysis and reporting, and participate in annual budget development for CYFS programs. Provide ongoing support for updating projections related to staffing, cost allocation, and cost fluctuations. This role ensures fiscal and administrative support for Head Start, Early Head Start, Migrant & Seasonal Head Start, and State Child Development (CYFS) Programs.
Required Qualifications
- Has an AA/AS Degree
- Has at least 3 years related work experience, or a combination of education and experience which will provide for at least 5 years of administrative/financial experience
Desired Qualifications
- Has experience in data entry, payment systems, accounts payable, or finance/information technology
- Has a certification in a specific financial skill, such as software certification
