Job Summary
Prepares and processes invoices, payments, receipts, and reports while gathering and tracking billing data to ensure clients are billed correctly. Manages the collections process by tracking past-due accounts and conducting client outreach to resolve outstanding balances. Inputs financial transactions, processes online bank deposits, and audits vendor invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments. Compiles financial data from multiple sources to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while working with the Associate Director to identify workflow efficiencies and automate processes. Supports financial audits and general finance team initiatives including data entry, document preparation, and administrative duties.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in an accounting, finance, or billing role
- Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks Online, Zoho Books, or similar platforms
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis functions
- Ability to navigate various software platforms, quickly learn new systems, and manage multiple financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills to assist with client inquiries and day-to-day financial operations
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
