Job Summary
Close the business P&L, prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations, and conduct quarterly analytics while collaborating with the audit team. Review and approve Group level monthly reconciliations and journal entries in strict adherence to US GAAP and company financial policy. Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual analytics preparations, support SOX and external audits, and resolve revenue and expense recognition issues with business stakeholders. Mentor a finance team of 3-5 members, guide day-to-day processes, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ Years of experience
- Review and approval of Group level monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Approval of journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and Company Financial Policy
- Strong Analytical skills
- Monthly P/L and B/S Trend Analysis
- Review and other Month end call with Business stakeholders and Controllers
- Guide and mentor team members
- Create and Drive culture of strong Review mechanisms, monitoring and tracking mechanisms, Process controls
- Ability to plan and deliver work as per the set timelines
- Assist with SOX, external and internal audits
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationship
- Good knowledge of Revenue & Cost Accounting
- Experience of Leading and mentoring a finance and accounting team of 3-5 members
- Set performance goals and monitor productivity
- Process Improvement / Change Management
- Ability to understand and resolve problems with minimum assistance
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Reporting and analysis skills
- MS Excel Proficient
- Semi Qualified professionals - CA Inter / CMA Inter
- Master's degree in finance or accounting
- 7-10 years of knowledge in Revenue / Cost Accounting and GL Accounting is must
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Extremely well-organized
- Strong process orientation
- Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
- Confident and Self Driven
Desired Qualifications
- MBA/Master's is a plus
