Job Summary
Oversee the EOC Finance desk, supervising Purchasing, Fiscal, Travel, and Budget Units while developing staffing patterns to support SERT activities. Track event costs with state finance offices, compile daily estimates, and report mission costs to the SERT Chief and SCO. Purchase necessary items for SERT, secure food vendor contracts, monitor personnel overtime, and support demobilization with financial closeouts and timely Situation Reports. Work onsite at CO EOC locations for temporary, 12-hour days requiring evening and weekend availability, with travel to client sites including hospitals and debris sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
- Experience and knowledge of working within the Incident Command Framework at state or federal levels
- Experience with financial management applications
- Experience working in an Emergency Operations Center or disaster response, including at least 2 activations or exercises in a supervisory or key support capacity
- Capable of critical decision-making in a highly charged and dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel

- Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsored visa
- Must pass company and any applicable client background check and reference check upon offer of employment
- Must be willing to travel and deploy to client sites for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. repetitively throughout the day and as needed
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time if needed
- Must be available for 12 hour work days
- Work on evenings and weekends may be required
- Dependability and punctuality are paramount
Desired Qualifications
- Five or more years professional experience in emergency management
- Master's degree in finance/Accounting, Emergency Management or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Proficient with Web EOC
- ICS position-specific certification preferred
