Finance Risk & Control Analyst

Job Summary
Perform control testing to assess the design and operating effectiveness of key Finance controls, documenting risks and evaluating control effectiveness with finance teams. Manage user access to SAP and other Finance applications, performing segregation of duties reviews and coordinating periodic access reviews to ensure rights are appropriate and approved. Act as the primary liaison between Finance teams and the SAP GRC Centre of Excellence to support policy implementation and continuous improvement. Support audit reviews and investigations related to system access and user provisioning while monitoring remediation actions for identified control gaps. Work with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to strengthen the control environment and identify automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, risk management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in internal controls, audit, risk management, compliance, or a related Finance function
- Good understanding of internal control frameworks, Finance processes, risk and control concepts such as Three Lines Defence Model, or similar governance frameworks
- Experience performing control testing, risk assessments, and documenting controls
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong team-oriented mindset
- Ability to challenge processes constructively and identify opportunities for improvement
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented mindset
- Interest in process improvement, automation, and digital tools (e.g., Copilot)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP, SAP GRC, or user access management processes is a strong asset
- experience with Power BI, data analytics tools, or reporting tools is a plus
