Finance Project Manager

Job Summary
Co-pilot execution on high-priority corporate finance workstreams while establishing baseline RAID logs and mapping horizontal cross-team dependencies to eliminate schedule bottlenecks. Implement standardized governance tools, including DACI/RACI matrices and risk escalation protocols, to support a single source of truth through automated reporting templates and dashboards. Facilitate Steering Committees to maintain alignment with Executive Leadership and lead regular retrospectives and post-mortems to foster a self-correcting team dynamic. This 6-month contract role involves partnering with the Strategic Ops Lead to optimize cross-functional delivery velocity and transition the organization away from localized tools toward a unified, automated way of working.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in project management or project coordination
- Experience ideally supporting corporate portfolios or matrixed environments
- Mastery of core project management practices
- Specifically dependency mapping
- Proactive risk mitigation
- Structured status governance
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
- Highly comfortable enforcing meeting discipline
- Defining clear agendas
- Documenting actionable outcomes
- Highly proactive behavioral approach
- Comfortable operating within a dynamic framework
- Keeping team execution synchronized and moving forward
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience managing projects within Corporate Finance
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
