Job Summary
Finance Process Designer sought to join WPP Media’s D365 Programme Implementation Team. Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to capture As-Is/To-Be requirements for cross-functional finance processes; design and re-engineer integrated finance processes to optimize D365 F&O/BC functionalities; configure systems across modules such as Cost Accounting, Project Management & Accounting, and advanced General Ledger; manage RAID items; oversee tasks and deliverables within the project plan; support data migration and master data design; develop UAT scripts, lead testing, and coordinate defect resolution; create training materials and deliver sessions; provide go-live and hypercare support; align designs with global D365 process ownership principles across markets. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data integrity, and end-to-end finance process excellence across multiple currencies and regions within a hybrid-office setup in the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in finance process design, with a proven track record on complex, integrated finance solutions
- Demonstrable experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or D365 Business Central (e.g., Cost Accounting, Project Management & Accounting, advanced General Ledger)
- Strong understanding of integration points between finance modules and with non-finance modules
- Experience with financial master data management and data governance principles
- Proficiency in documenting complex business processes, functional specifications, and integration test plans
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to bridge technical and business teams
- Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Experience in go-live planning and post-go-live support
- Experience with data migration strategies for finance-related entities
- Experience collaborating with global process owners to ensure compliant designs
