Job Summary
VP - Finance - PM Fund Controllership responsible for the preparation, analysis, and dissemination of financial and operational information for the private equity fund. Lead the production of performance reports, balance sheets, GAAP financial statements, and fund expenses; ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance; coordinate monthly partner transfers and quarterly reporting packages; generate and validate reports in Investran; collaborate with portfolio managers and investors to provide timely updates on fund activity; demonstrate strong financial analysis, modelling, and data-management capabilities; leverage Excel and Bloomberg for reporting and governance; maintain capital accounts and ensure adherence to private equity fund regulations; act as a key stakeholder liaison to deliver delivery excellence and accountability across local and global teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent
- Chartered Accountant / CFA
- 10-13 years of experience in fund reporting, accounting or finance
- Experience in preparing regular financial reports for private equity funds, including NAV, performance reports, and presentations
- Knowledge of fund accounting principles and the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date capital account records
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing private equity funds and the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant requirements
- Ability to perform complex financial analysis and modelling
- Ability to communicate regularly with investors and provide updates on fund performance
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and systems, such as Bloomberg, etc.
- Ability to manage large amounts of data accurately and efficiently
- Systems/ Tools/ Applications knowledge: MS Excel, Investran
