Job Summary
Finance Partner for ROAD and D&R portfolios to support General Managers and Group Executives with strategic, commercial and operational financial insights. Drive prioritisation and resourcing of commercial initiatives, assess opex/capital expenditure and benefit realisation, challenge budget assumptions and cash flows, maintain strong stakeholder relationships under management and investor agreements, and apply a continuous improvement lens to standardisation and digitisation. Key skills include advanced Excel, budgeting/forecasting, financial modelling, and ability to influence Senior Management on financial issues and projects. This role aligns with Transurban’s focus on delivering value through informed decision-making across multiple portfolios and maintenance projects, with flexible working options and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary accounting, finance or commerce qualifications plus professional accreditation (e.g. CPA, ICA, CFA, Masters of Applied Finance)
Desired Qualifications
- Professional accreditation (e.g., CPA, ICA, CFA)
- Masters of Applied Finance (preferred)
- Advanced MS Office skills - Excel
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial modelling
- Capital and maintenance project experience
