Finance Operations Manager

Job Summary
Lead the monthly financial close and deliver accurate, timely reporting to empower leadership decisions. Partner with operations and engineering teams to translate financial performance into actionable insights, develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, and build operational KPIs that drive continuous improvement. Mentor the Staff Accountant while transforming data into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate cross-functionally on new product launches and business development, supporting cost modeling and pricing analysis. Continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls, serving as the financial liaison between Oribi and Re:Build corporate finance. Walk the production floor regularly to understand manufacturing processes and build relationships with operators and engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial operations or management accounting
- exposure to manufacturing cost accounting
- exposure to operational metrics
- exposure to cross-functional collaboration
- comfort building a forecast
- comfort closing the books
- comfort walking the production floor to understand how the business really works
- willingness to get out of the office and into the operation
