Job Summary
Finance Operations Manager role leading accounting, billing, and receivables for the Job Corps portfolio; own monthly close, audit coordination, and internal controls in a federal program context. Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights, resolve complex accounting issues, and support cost-effective program delivery. Drive financial dashboards/reports, ensure compliance with federal grant requirements, coordinate statutory audits (including Puerto Rico), and mentor junior staff while promoting disciplined finance processes. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 7-8 years of relevant accounting experience, external-audit experience, strong Excel/financial-systems skills, and the ability to deliver timely, accurate financial information across multi-site/program environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7 - 8 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience supporting external audits
- Experience in multi-site or program-based environments preferred
- Government, grant, or contract-based accounting experience a plus
- Strong Excel and financial systems capability
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
