Job Summary
Analyze, design, and implement process improvements across finance operations including AP, AR, GL, and payments to drive efficiency and accuracy. Leverage data analytics to identify root causes, develop dashboards for KPI monitoring, and create macro-based automation solutions using RPA and workflow tools. Lead cross-functional projects with finance, product, and tech teams to ensure timely milestone delivery while developing SOPs and training materials. Identify and support internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance. Execute VSMs and Kaizens independently while applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and GenAI trends. Maintain process documentation adhering to BPMN standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in driving improvements in finance operations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a tech or e-commerce environment is an advantage
- Professional certifications (CA, PMP, CPA, etc.) are a plus
- Experience as a User of these processes is a plus
- Skilled at creating Excel macros to automate processes is preferred
- Familiarity with finance systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and automation tools (RPA, Alteryx, UiPath, etc.) is highly desirable
- Experience with process mapping, process reengineering, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Solid understanding of finance operations processes (OTC, PTP and RTR)
- Strong analytical skills; ability to work with large datasets, perform detailed root cause analysis, and generate actionable insights and improvement plans
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement orientation
- Excellent communication, articulation and interpersonal skills; able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable with ambiguity and change
- Be conversant with the latest trends in process improvement leveraging AI/ML and GenAI
- Be conversant with BPMN standards & tools of process documentation
