Job Summary
Own full-cycle accounts payable, invoice coding, vendor setup, and payment runs across a multi-entity structure. Track and reconcile customer funds flows, processor settlements, and bank reconciliations while flagging discrepancies. Support the monthly close, prepare multi-entity financial statements, and analyze operational performance to implement optimization processes. Collaborate with Data and Engineering to build financial reporting dashboards and manage external audits, regulatory reporting, and tax filings. Liaise with state and local agencies for registrations. Requires 2-3 years of finance operations experience. This role is critical to Novig's new CFTC-designated sports prediction market, driving fund flows and number crunching for a lean, high-growth team.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or finance at a high-growth startup or trading exchange
- Own full-cycle accounts payable, invoice coding, vendor setup & KYB, and payment runs across multi-entity structure
- Track and reconcile customer funds flows and processor settlements against internal records
- Perform bank reconciliations across multiple entity accounts and flag discrepancies for review
- Support the preparation of multi-entity financial statements and ad hoc analyses, as well as the monthly close process
- Analyze financial performance and operations and implement optimization processes
- Advise and execute buildout of financial reporting dashboards in collaboration with Data and Engineering
- Support external audits, third party requests, and regulatory reporting
- Liaise with state and local agencies for registrations and tax filings
- Must be available for nights, weekends, and pressure
