Job Summary
Review invoices, process payments, and maintain vendor records within the accounts payable workflow. Track employee reimbursements, corporate card expenses, and operational spending while reconciling bank accounts and payment platforms. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes with external partners and monitor budgets to assist leadership in decision-making. Coordinate with HR on payroll operations, partner with Legal on contract alignment, and improve internal finance processes through automation and documentation. Maintain accurate financial records for tax, audit, and compliance activities. Join the early Finance Operations team to help design scalable systems supporting rapid global growth.
Required Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, financial analysis, bookkeeping, or a related field
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, financial statements, and operational finance processes
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial systems such as Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP/accounting platforms
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with leadership, HR, legal, and external accounting firms
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in AI, technology, or high-growth startups is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred
- CPA, CMA, or other accounting certifications are a plus but not required
