Job Summary
Finance Officer for Payroll Services responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies. Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity; calculate and process leave, overtime and terminations; assist with audits and reporting requirements; accurate and timely end-of-month and end-of-year processing; respond to payroll queries from employees and managers, and provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures. Required Qualifications
- Payroll experience
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in payroll, HR and T&A systems (iChris, Workday, UKG or similar)
- Confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
