Finance Officer - Corporate Services Support

Job Summary
Ensure delivery of critical finance processes including FSI, CBT, UNHAS, BSP, cost recovery, and donor reporting to support timely humanitarian responses. Monitor exchange rate factors, USD and YER liquidity, and coordinate budgeting, spending, and balance management for expiring contributions. Lead monthly reconciliations for UNHAS, BSP, and cost recovery projects, while tracking data to improve policies and minimize financial risks. Guide junior staff on complex analysis and represent the unit in meetings with UN agencies, banks, and partners. Deliver accurate, well-documented records and organized financial data in adherence to corporate governance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant fields
- Advanced University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields
- First University degree in the same subject(s) with additional years of related work experience plus membership in an international recognized professional accountancy body such as Association of Chartered, Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Institute of Certified Public Accounts (ICPA) or equivalent
- Total relevant 5 years of experience
- 1 year of Professional experience
- English-Arabic language skills

- UN experience in working in the finance, project management, in humanitarian and development context
