Job Summary
Review agency expenditures for compliance with program budgets and contracts, monitor subgrantees for invoicing and documentation, and process bills from vendors and consultants for payment. Prepare invoices, compile cost documentation, and reconcile general ledgers with internal financial tools while analyzing and interpreting financial reports and projections. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end tasks, including grants management duties related to procurement, reimbursements, and reporting. This onsite role in Davidson County, TN, supports the Finance Director in managing GNRC's accounting, analysis, and grant administration for local governments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business management or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Four years of experience
- Master's degree
- Two years of experience
- Advanced training or continuing education specific to accounting or finance or grants management
- Foreign degrees and credentials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
- Prior experience using at least one accounting/bookkeeping software
- Onsite work in Davidson County, TN
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Sage Intacct
- Experience with Abila MIP Fund Accounting software
