Finance Manager - Weeks Marine - Dredging Division

Job Summary
Analyze and communicate financial results of projects to upper-level management while developing and maintaining budget reports, earned value analyses, and project profit projections. Lead a team of finance professionals through training and development, earning buy-in from Operations to improve cohesion and clear communication. Review all project cash flows, contract terms, and change orders for financial risks, assist with tracking change orders and developing procedures, and drive continuous improvement using data for risk analysis and benchmarking. Visit projects and teams on an as-needed basis up to 25% of the time. Work during normal operating hours with overtime and weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of financial/data analysis or public accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or an equivalent degree
- Proven track record of successfully developing or managing a team
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities
- High level of professionalism and standards
- Must be able to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
- Travel may be required for this position (up to 25%)
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines
- Work overtime and weekends as required
