Finance Manager

Finance Manager within the Travelstart Group Finance function, focusing on group-level financial reporting, consolidations, technical accounting under IFRS, and internal controls. The role offers exposure to a dynamic multi-entity, multi-currency online travel business and plays a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting across the Group. This position is ideal for a newly qualified CA(SA) seeking to build experience in group reporting, technical accounting, and process improvement within a fast-paced technology and e-commerce environment. Key responsibilities include monthly group management accounts, group consolidations with intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation, balance sheet and income statement reconciliations at subsidiary level, variance analysis with commentary, adherence to reporting deadlines across entities, and preparation of financial statements as required. Technical accounting duties cover IFRS matters such as revenue recognition, leases, foreign currency, provisions, and business combinations; VAT queries; documentation of accounting treatments; and maintenance of group accounting policies. Internal controls, group audit support, and coordination with external auditors are also included, alongside process improvement, standardisation, and stakeholder engagement across the Group. The position supports a collaborative Finance Team responsible for financial accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
