Job Summary
Finance Manager for maternity cover (FTC) in Dublin with hybrid work. Lead and develop a finance team and oversee performance across multiple entities, including monthly management accounts, annual budgets, board reporting, cashflow management and financial forecasts. Manage statutory and regulatory filings (CBI, Corporate Tax, VAT) and the annual audit. Oversee Accounts Payable for Irish entities and liaise with Shared Service Centre in Leeds. Ensure balance sheet reconciliations, KPI reporting, and adherence to IFRS. Partner with the business on finance topics and KPIs in a fast-paced environment, with occasional out-of-hours work.
Required Qualifications
- Proven management skills relating to processes, workflows, training and development of the local Finance team
- Completed an internationally recognized accounting designation (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACMA or ACCA)
- A minimum of 4 years’ post-qualified experience and at least 4 years’ audit experience, preferably in the Big 4
- Held a similar managerial role at an equivalent level for at least 1-3 years would be an asset
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
- Thorough understanding of structured finance companies, hedge funds and other structures commonly found in the industry
- Familiarity with VAT and transfer pricing models will be an asset for this role
- Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
