Job Summary
Oversee financial operations for the Division, including P2P, OTC, and R2R processes, while leading the P2P and OTC departments and managing a team of 10+. Drive job-cost analysis, month-end close activities, and financial modeling for bids and capital investments. Coach staff, support external audits, and analyze project performance to ensure compliance with accounting standards and industry regulations. Ensure weekly through annual reporting requirements are met timely while partnering with operations, estimating, and executive teams to align financial goals with business strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Master's or CPA
- 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
- 3 years within the construction industry
- Cost Plus (GMP), Fixed-fee, and Lump-sum revenue recognition/billing
- 5+ years of financial operations oversight
- 5 years managing a team
- Strong understanding of construction accounting concepts such as WIP, retainage, lien releases, bonds, OCIP, job‑costing, and percentage‑of‑completion revenue recognition
- Strong accounting acumen with working knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with intermediate to expert level ability to utilize M365 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with construction ERP systems (e.g., COINS, Viewpoint, Sage 300, Procore, CMiC)
- Familiarity with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and overseeing union / non-union payroll
