Finance Manager - Supply Chain Operations (6 month's contract role)

Job Summary
Own and oversee all Supply Chain and Inventory-related month-end close activities, ensuring accurate accounting of inventory, manufacturing variances, and distribution expenses. Partner with Singapore & China operations to drive financial strategy, transformation, and performance through scenario analysis, rigorous performance management, and working capital optimization. Develop actionable KPIs linking financial results to operational drivers while establishing robust inventory governance to mitigate risk and ensure SOX compliance. Serve as the primary finance point of contact for site leadership, translating operational activity into financial outcomes and supporting strategic initiatives across Distribution and Manufacturing. This six-month fixed-term contract offers maternity leave cover within a global Finance organization supporting Singapore and China.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
- MBA or CPA
- Senior leader with 8+ years of industry experience with expertise in supply chain operations
- Demonstrated experience in driving transformation across supply chain-led strategic initiatives
- Financial modelling capability across productivity, network and capacity strategy decisions
- Expert knowledge of US GAAP, inventory accounting, and SOX controls
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and constructively challenging the status quo
- Proven ability to build effective cross-functional partnerships
Desired Qualifications
- Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics and operating models
- Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, complex environments
- Hands-on experience leveraging advanced analytics or AI-enabled tools (e.g., Power BI, Anaplan, SQL, Python) to enhance forecasting and insight
- Experience operating in global, matrixed organization's
- Strong digital and learning mindset, with curiosity towards emerging analytical capabilities and demonstrated experience of rolling out AI use cases
