Finance Manager - Stores Finance Operations

Job Summary
Develop senior finance talent by managing daily workloads, reviewing output, and coaching junior analysts. Act as a subject matter expert to convert complex business plans into quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans. Collaborate cross-functionally to provide root cause analysis and actionable insights based on financial and non-financial data. Create robust financial models for business cases, identify risks, and engage owners in trade-off conversations. Communicate clear themes and recommendations to senior leaders while leveraging multiple data sources. This role supports Lowe's strategy as a key home improvement company with over 1,750 stores.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 6 years Experience in finance or analytical role in public company or accounting
- 1 year Experience with financial forecasting or analytical modeling
- Experience in structuring and writing formal documents, developing and delivering group presentations, project planning, and/or cross-functional collaboration
- Previous experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance or Corporate Accounting
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Experience leading people directly or indirectly
- Experience developing and managing operational initiatives to deliver results
- Experience managing implementation of mid-size projects, programs or processes
- Experience working in a big box/large retailer
- Experience working at a Fortune 500 company
