Job Summary
Develop the Annual Financial Plan by collaborating with Sales, Operations, and cross-functional leaders to forecast income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows against monthly actuals. Lead advanced financial analysis for material investment projects, utilizing financial modeling to simulate scenarios and recommend optimal paths while assessing GAAP, tax, and legal implications. Drive profitable growth by presenting financial data clearly to non-financial executives and resolving complex situations with strong organizational and communication skills. This full-time role requires on-site presence at the Youngstown Corporate office, with flexibility for additional hours during planning periods and occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance preferred or Accounting
- MBA preferred
- Minimum of five to seven years of experience in Financial role with progressive responsibilities
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Able to effectively present financial data clearly to non-financial leaders
- Self-starter who can effectively function independently and has sense of urgency in completing tasks well
- Proactive, results-driven individual with strong desire to succeed and who enjoys a challenge
- Strong organizational and project/time management skills with ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent facilitation, analytical and organizational skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with capability to explain concepts clearly and credibly across all levels of organization
- Strong integrity and ethical standards, as well as work ethic with ability to maintain confidentiality at highest level
- Must be able to work at the Youngstown Corporate office
- Willing to work additional hours especially around key financial planning periods and on an as needed basis for projects
- Must have ability to travel on occasion
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of GAAP accounting, tax, and informed legal implications of projects under consideration
- Develop or recommend solution for problems or situations
