Job Summary
Monitor progress toward financial commitments and provide timely insights to support program and executive leadership. Lead quarterly forecasting cycles for the portfolio, manage program financial performance through variance analysis, and support bidding activities including pricing exercises and business case development. Partner with Program Managers, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to track material costs, prepare Estimates at Completion, and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and CAS regulations. Act as the external audit interface for selected programs while maintaining strong financial controls across the portfolio. This role reports directly to the Land Systems Controller and requires onsite location in Orlando, Florida, with 5-10% annual travel. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with 16+ years of progressive experience and proficiency in EVM and financial systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 16+ years of progressive experience (with a significant portion directly related to Financial Management), or a Master's degree with 14+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
- Proficient with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts, systems, and reporting
- Proficient with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other general accounting rules and principles
- Strong focus on analyzing and understanding financial data
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders and work cross-functionally
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams
- Ability to travel 5-10% annually, primarily internationally and possibly domestically
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if required
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen

- U.S. Government Contracting experience preferred, including familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and CAS rules and regulations
