Job Summary
Finance Manager, Product & Technology to serve as the financial authority across cloud infrastructure, SaaS subscriptions, and AI-related spend, enabling Engineering, IT, and Product leaders to manage costs and scale efficiently. Drive forecasting, performance reviews for VP-level Engineering and Product & Technology Operations leaders, governance of the technology software portfolio, and development of an AI usage financial model. Build partnerships with Engineering, IT, Product, and Operations to guide investment prioritization, translate complex data for technical and business audiences, and represent Finance in cross-functional discussions on software strategy and long-term planning. Based in Austin, TX with immediate start.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or related discipline
- Experience owning cloud infrastructure, hosting, or technology expense forecasting
- Strong understanding of software licensing models, including SaaS subscriptions, enterprise agreements, and usage-based pricing structures
- Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to build complex models from scratch and present recommendations to senior leadership
- Experience with financial planning platforms such as Pigment, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar tools, along with expert-level Excel proficiency
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with VP-level and senior leaders
- Experience supporting AI/ML-related financial planning, emerging technology investments, or technology cost optimization initiatives is a plus
