Finance Manager

Job Summary
Oversee the financial health of the organization by managing the finance team, creating overall financial plans, and preparing reports for executive management. Ensure adherence to financial regulations, including tax compliance and GAAP standards, while conducting audits and maintaining internal controls. Provide accounting services to residents for banking, estate funds, and income tax, and manage the budgeting function by monitoring actual performance against annual plans. Supervise five staff members, advise supervisors on significant issues, and perform day-to-day general accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- career progression in an accounting function
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Not-for-Profit accounting
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
