Job Summary
Finance Manager responsible for managing the complete financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting activities under US GAAP and Australian GAAP. Oversees budgeting processes, month-end and year-end closes, and statutory reporting, taxation and BAS/FBT lodgments. Partners with stakeholders to provide insightful financial advice, conducts investment/profitability analyses, and guides the finance team to ensure compliant, timely reporting. Applies internal controls and drives process improvements, while coordinating with auditors and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Emphasizes strategic decision support, cost management, and reliable management reporting to support Moog Australia’s business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Chartered Accountant Qualification (CPA/CA)
- Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Minimum 5 years of proven work experience in a senior finance position
- Knowledge of ERP systems and Financial Reporting tools (QAD or OneStream is an advantage)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications

- Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain the required Australian security clearance
