Job Summary
Prepare, generate, and process invoices with precision while reconciling payments and financial records across accounts. Oversee partner legal and financial information to validate banking details and ensure data integrity for seamless processing. Serve as the primary contact for partners in Mexico and Colombia, resolving invoicing issues and analyzing system data to enhance reporting accuracy. Manage partner credit limits and early prepayment arrangements to support uninterrupted sales. This role supports daily accounting operations and team growth within Distribusion's LATAM finance function, leveraging SQL, PostgreSQL, and advanced Excel skills. You will join a remote-first team backed by TQ Ventures and Lightrock, working with global retailers like Booking.com and Google Maps.
Required Qualifications
- 6 years of focus on financial operations and payment processing
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles
- Familiarity in MRFS
- Familiarity in NIF
- Familiarity in IFRS
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Skill in advanced formulas
- Skill in pivot tables
- Skill in data analysis
- Familiarity with SQL
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in Business Spanish
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Payment Service Providers
- Good understanding of financial controlling processes
- Experience with ERP systems, such as DATEV, NetSuite, Xero, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics
