Job Summary
Lead department budget preparation and guide leaders on spending management while owning the budget vs. actuals process to identify variances and deliver actionable insights. Partner with cross-functional teams to allocate resources for multi-year investments, manage month-end close activities including accruals and reporting packages, and develop business cases by evaluating ROI and strategic fit. Manage internal and external reporting to meet commitments while supporting scaling operations and priority initiatives. This role focuses on driving data-driven investment decisions within JetZero's blended-wing body aircraft development team.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of financial analysis experience, including capital planning and business case modeling
- Experience in the aerospace industry or a comparable environment — including engineering, manufacturing, banking, or consulting
- Experience with budget vs. actuals analysis and variance reporting
- Demonstrated analytical and modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel, financial systems; and three-statement financials
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Current work authorization
