Job Summary
Manage the Finance team to ensure timely month-end closing, forecasting, and budgeting while overseeing management accounting, financial reporting, and costing activities. Ensure compliance with all accounting, tax, statutory, legislative requirements, and group policies. Analyze data for decision-making by operational and senior management and liaise with bankers, auditors, and on corporate secretarial matters. Drive new financial system implementations and upgrades while formulating and implementing financial policies. Assist in daily operations and ad hoc projects as assigned. Work Mon to Fri, 8am to 5:45pm.
Required Qualifications
- CPA with Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or its equivalent
- Minimum 5 - 7 years' relevant working experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience in a supervisory role is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word etc
- Strong interpersonal, communication & analytical skills
- A good team player, meticulous and dynamic with the ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure & deliver within tight deadlines
- Operationally oriented
- Mon to Fri, 8am to 5:45pm
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of QAD & SAP will be an advantage
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations is preferred
