Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of the Finance Department and the organization’s accounting operations. This position supports the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring strong internal controls, and producing timely financial reporting. The Finance Manager oversees departmental staff responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, payroll coordination, and financial reporting, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with GAAP, healthcare regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. In a clinician-owned practice environment, the role supports financial operations of individual clinics by providing accurate financial reporting, assisting with financial analysis, and ensuring appropriate allocation of expenses and revenues affecting clinic performance and clinician compensation. Essential duties include department leadership, staff management, cash management, monthly close, internal controls, and collaboration with the CFO on financial statements, clinic reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of accounting/finance experience with leadership, preferably in healthcare; CPA or related certifications strongly preferred.
