Job Summary
Oversee and support the financial operations of Mastercam's European entities by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing monthly financial results, and driving month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Act as the primary finance business partner for the region, translating financial data into actionable insights for local entity leaders, operational teams, and U.S. headquarters to align reporting standards and business objectives. Manage statutory and regulatory compliance across European locations, coordinating with external audit and tax advisors while maintaining robust internal controls and intercompany reconciliation processes. This fully remote role within Europe requires regular travel across European locations and occasional trips to corporate offices. Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in an additional European language preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Charted Accountancy Qualification (or similar)
- 6 - 9 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles
- Experience supporting multiple entities, regions, or international business units
- Strong financial reporting and analysis skills
- Solid understanding of month-end close, balance sheet management, reconciliations, and financial controls
- Ability to interpret financial data and provide clear, practical insight
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage deadlines across multiple entities
- Experience supporting finance and accounting operations within European entities
- Knowledge of European statutory reporting, VAT, tax, or local compliance requirements
- Experience working in a global or US-headquartered organization
- Proficiency using ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, and globally distributed environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build strong partnerships across finance, operations, and leadership teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify root causes, assess financial impacts, and develop practical solutions
- Fluency in English
- Regular travel across European locations
- Occasional travel to corporate offices
