Finance Manager

Oversee the team's day-to-day operations and support the Director of Finance with the municipality's financial affairs under the Community Charter and Local Government Act. Analyze and interpret financial and budgetary reports, prepare statements, administer property tax and utility billing, and lead year-end activities. Review and approve accounts payable and receivable work, manage bookkeeping and customer-facing responsibilities, and train staff while troubleshooting and providing feedback. Participate in special projects and cultivate cross-functional operational initiatives to continuously improve team efficiency. This role ensures the organization meets its financial management responsibilities while fostering an effective and encouraging culture.
