Job Summary
Senior Finance Manager/Controller to lead finance across a multi-site healthcare group. Responsibilities include overseeing month-end and year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, managing a distributed accounting team, developing and improving finance processes and internal controls, overseeing Medicare billings and private health insurance revenue streams, supervising payroll tax, workers compensation, and BAS/FBT compliance, partnering with operational leaders to deliver financial insights, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and strategic projects. Requires CA or CPA (or equivalent) and 3+ years in finance leadership, with hands-on experience, process improvement focus, stakeholder management, and healthcare exposure preferred.
Required Qualifications
- CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
- 3+ years in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or comparable finance management role
- Strong financial control and month-end experience
- Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating finance teams
- Experience developing and implementing finance processes, controls, and operating procedures
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, evolving environment with a continuous improvement focus
- Strong stakeholder management skills and solid commercial acumen
