Job Summary
Finance Manager role within a global professional services firm, focusing on providing financial and strategic analysis to leaders across legal departments, practices, and industry groups. Responsibilities include managing finance-related projects, evaluating strategic initiatives through research on competition and markets, developing financial models and reporting to identify trends, monitoring progress against targets, analyzing client performance data to identify opportunities, and safeguarding confidential information. Ideal candidate will have advanced financial modeling and project management skills, proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint/Business Objects, and a track record of at least seven years in finance within a professional services environment; holds a Bachelor’s degree with an MBA preferred. The position supports a hybrid and in-office schedule.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field
- An MBA, preferably
- A minimum of seven (7) years of analytical experience in finance or a related professional services environment
- A minimum of two (2) years of leading projects and other initiatives, preferably
- Previous experience in a customer-focused position
- Knowledge of information technology systems including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Objects
- Demonstrated financial modeling and project management skills
