Job Summary
Build robust financial models to support pricing, promotion, assortment, and key business decisions for the Hard Goods team. Serve as the financial and strategic partner to leadership by analyzing complex data sets to translate insights into executive-ready recommendations. Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams to develop, track, and manage business forecasts while influencing strategic investments. Manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong analytical skills to guide growth decisions and improve overall business performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar
- 5+ years of relevant experience (Investment Banking, Strategic Finance, Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, Ops/Supply Chain Finance)
- preferably with an understanding of brand or retail finance and financial modeling
- Strong analytical and modeling skills (building from the ground up)
- experience in supporting business case development, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to deal with adversity and rapidly changing operating conditions while still delivering to expectations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in both early stage and corporate environments
- Familiarity with an e-commerce or retail business model
- Travel not required
